Realty Capital Corporation:  served as a limited partner investor in numerous commercial, residential and mixed-use projects.  Assisted developers with various retail and residential projects, including the purchase of Corral City, Texas.

 

Mansfield Warehouse Project, Mansfield, TX:  Purchased 6.5 acres in Mansfield, with a 30,000 sq. ft., fully-leased building as a 1031 exchange.

 

Keller Office Park, Keller, TX:  I served as co-developer (with my husband) on

this office development, and successfully formed a syndication, personally raising all

equity needed for the project in one day.

 

Fossil Creek Building, Fort Worth, TX:  Purchased, self-managed every aspect of ownership, and sold this office building with a 1031 exchange, and a high return on investment.

My optometric career involved the successful development of numerous practices – including an array of established practice purchases, start-up endeavors, and small chain developments.  

 

Founder, President - Professional Money Management, Inc.

As a Registered Financial Advisor, while actively practicing optometry, I started Professional Money Management, Inc., focusing primarily on assisting doctors and single women with their financial goals. 

 

Founder, President - Practice Dynamics, Inc.

Through this start-up corporation, I appraised optometric practices, assisted doctors in brokering their practices - bringing buyers and sellers together, assisting with negotiations, contracts, etc.

 

Professional Consultants, Inc.

This corporation arranged for doctors to fill in at offices throughout Texas on an as-needed basis.  I was eventually brought into this corporation and made its President.

As both a doctor and patient, I am working closely with the researchers on this rare, genetic condition, and spoke at the 2008 annual convention.
